Hello. Does anyone know what the availability is for shuttles or public transport from Kayseri airport to Goreme? We haven't nailed down our flight yet from Istanbul to Kayseri airport, and we might be flying in around 2:00 or 3:00AM. Does anyone know if shuttles run at such an odd hour? We're travelling this October. Thanks for your help.

Yes, shuttles should be available. You must reserve your taxi ahead of time. We did this about 10 years ago when our flight from Istanbul arrived at night. I don’t remember where we located it, but it was probably online. Lonely planet was our guidebook. We were staying in a small fairy chimney B and B up a side dirt road in Goreme. Bought a balloon ride and a tour of the area tunnels and sites from a travel agency in Istanbul where we started the trip at a discount from what was being sold online. The tours picked us up at our B and B. We bought the bus tickets at each town we stayed in upon arriving. The buses were very comfortable, even the overnight bus to Ankara. It was a great trip.
