Hello, we are serious about taking the 7 day Istanbul RS tour. This would be our first tour with RS. I have a few questions as I plan the trip and make my final decision (1) Best airport to fly into (IST?) (2) what is travel time from airport to hotel? (3) which hotel is planned for the Oct 19-25th tour ? (4) which evenings include dinner? Thank you.

Yes, you would plan to fly to Istanbul's main airport, named for Ataturk. From most starting points in the US, your flight will include a connection at a hub city like London, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt. The airport shuttle bus takes about an hour to the city center. That tour date is reserved to stay at Hotel Sumengen. According to the online itinerary, dinner together is scheduled evenings # 1, 3, and 6.
