Hi,
I'm planning a trip and one option is a 15 hour layover in IST. We would arrive at Wednesday, 30 August at 2245 and depart the next day at 1420. Would there be much to see and do if we leave the airport? I don't imagine much would be open at 2245 and a 1420 departure would mean we'd have the morning to explore Istanbul.
Any thoughts?

I have not been to Istanbul, but had a layover there on a trip to Greece. I wish that I had known about the sightseeing tours from the airport, since I was traveling alone and not brave enough to leave the airport.
