100th Anniversary Celebrations?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but 2023 is supposed to be the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic. Does anyone know if there are any special celebrations or events this year? Would be cool to celebrate with the Turkish people.

I heard Turkey is supposed to be a great place to travel this year. Travel and Leisure has it on the best places to travel this year (https://www.travelandleisure.com/best-places-to-go-2023-6827750) and so does The King’s Travel (https://thekingstravel.com/the-15-best-places-to-travel-in-2023/). But no one lists anything specific like parades or festivals. Am I missing something?

I happened to be in Turkey on the day of the 99th anniversary, and there were Turkish flags flying everywhere. The Turkish people are very patriotic and they absolutely worship Ataturk. It's a beautiful, fascinating, complicated country (can you tell I think everyone should go?). I don't know anything about the 100th anniversary, but every day of the year is a good day to be in Turkey.
