The Story Hotel Pera was a wonderful place to stay. Very low price in off season. Very terrific location.
We were close to Metro and Tunel.
We were half a block from Starbucks, useful if you don’t desire Turkish coffee all the time.
We were two doors away from Istiklal Caddesi, a lively pedestrianized street.
The hotel was soundproof. Rooms had room darkening drapes. The shower and bedding were fantastic. Housekeeping was provided daily. Elevator was swift. Each room had a mini-bar fridge and kettle. Closet space was ample with a safe.
Only negatives: the entry can be a little tough if you are mobility challenged.
The front desk personnel are so helpful to guests sometimes the front door is unattended.
