Has anyone stayed at the Hippodrome HOtel in Istanbul? need a hotel for a family of 4 (2 kids) in August....want clean, safe, and air con.

I see no one had information for you about the hotel. Where did you end up staying and can you comment on how it was for a family of 4? My son's family is going to Istanbul next July and are looking now for hotels.

We did not make it to Istabul last summer...but find Rick Steves recommendations to be very good. good luck

We just returned from Istanbul and stayed at one of Rick's suggested properties. We also mentioned Rick's name and received a nice discounted rate. The hotel is : http://hotelvalidesultan.com/ The hotel is a family operated business and we received excellent service throughout our stay.
