We are winding down our three weeks in Poland. We are now in Krakow. I saw beautiful pictures of the painted houses of Zalipie and booked a day trip with Poland Activ. It was truly a highlight. Matt was a wonderful guide and we saw many houses that we never could have found on our own. It was about an hour and a half from Krakow. Matt picked us up at 8:30 and we were back in Krakow at 3:00. I encourage you to look up Zalipie and consider a day trip. It was nice to get out of the busy city. We never could have found all of the places we visited without a guide. We were able to go inside several houses where the paintings were just as vibrant.
