Just thought I would send a very quick trip report. We are in Zagreb and most of the museums still aren’t open. There is scaffolding all around the city. They received EU money to fix the buildings damaged in the earthquake. The 3 major churches are also closed to visitors - St Marks, Zagreb Cathedral, and St Katherine. They also have scaffolding. If you are thinking of visiting I would hold off for a year or two. The city will be beautiful when the majority of the work is done. As a side note, the newly opened Museum of Chocolate is wonderful.
