We're traveling to Iceland in the next week and I'm planning on taking a day trip to Holmavik in the Westfjiords. Has anyone been there and what are the road conditions like? It looks like regular highway but the map could be deceiving. TIA

We have been to Iceland a handful of times, but not to the Westfjords just yet. Next month;) So I can't help with personal experience, just what I have researched for myself. I would love to hear about your trip when you return!

Glad to help:) We will be in the Westfjords for 10 days, then 7 days for two other areas. Really looking forward to seeing a new area of the country.
