Used viator to book a tour in New Orleans. Received email that it was overbooked but I was billed anyway. Apparently they use negative billing.
Rebooked with them and had terrible tour on Cajun encounters. Beware of both of these outfits.

tbarnett, Viator is a third-party booking service for tours which usually can be booked directly with operators themselves. That way you can research reviews of those operators by name versus the generic descriptions on the Viator site. They purposely do not include the names of the companies as some folks don't realize that the tours are not exclusive to Viator.
For instance, do a search for "Viator, Cajun Encounters" and you'll see the website for "Cajun Encounters" pop up but nothing for the Viator tour which uses that company.
