Today, Thursday, we went to Versailles on our Museum Pass. We were surprised that there was a fee for the gardens (9€ apiece) as my research had said Tues. and weekends....thus we did not plan our trip and timing to see the fountains on their Very limited performance. Checking the Versailles website, May 29 seems to be "as well as additional days" the next to be August 15.

Thanks for the heads up. Like you, I knew about the Tuesdays and weekends, but wasn't aware of the "additional" days. I'll check those out on the website.

Additional days appear to be religious holidays...today is Ascension Day. Petit Palais was closed, no sign, where my mother was hoping to get tickets to see Belle Époque exhibit.
