Two Fun Events for Sevilla

I'll write a trip report when we're back home but wanted to share two fun events we would recommend while you're in Sevilla. Yesterday morning we took the "See By Bike" 3-hour group tour. Lots of fun going through several highlights along with hearing history at frequent stops. We had been to Plaza de Espana the day before, but with the bike tour, we enjoyed seeing much more of the park, too. The tour was 25Euro - a great price. People from Australia, USA, UK and France in our group.

Today we participated in a cooking class that included a market tour. The class is held in the market, so no time wasted. It was the 4-hour class with "Taller Andaluz de Cocina -Cooking School". We learned all of the intricacies of making authentic paella, along with a few more dishes. We left full & happy and very satisfied with the chef and class.

Sounds like great fun! We will be in Sevilla next month-- how do you recommend that we make arrangements for the bike trip and cooking class?

Hi Mary, I booked both of them through their websites. Both sent me an email response with details, address directions, etc. and you pay them upon arrival to the event.

By the way, I also booked our ticket for the Alcazar (and others in Madrid, etc) which saved us at least 30 minutes at each location since pre-purchased ticket reservations go through the left side queues - no waiting! Enjoy Sevilla! We've been here 3 days and wrapping up Day 4 tomorrow over at Triana, etc.

Definitely sounds like something to note for a future trip. So much to do, so little time. Retirement can't come soon enough.
