Remember you still need 1 Euro for the bagno which are sotto.

Ah c'mon Nigel, it is more fun trying to figure which bagno were sotto. My translation was going to be "you still need 1 euro for the beggers which are drunk."

ESATTO! You have to pay 12 Euro just to pay 1 Euro to use the bathrooms on the bottom level. Because the grande Napoli Centrale Stazione has No working elevators.

I believe most of Italy is out-of-order...or is it just me ;-)
And for those reading this, this is precisely why many of us harp and harp about packing lightly enough to manage your own bag(s) in situations like this. Most places I go don't have escalators nor elevators to begin with...
