Thank You for Those Who Served

I just want to thank all of you who have served our country and have given us the freedom to travel and explore this world. May your sacrifices be remembered not only on this Memorial Day, but every day.

Sorry for the late response, was celebrating with my dad, WWII Army vet, 94 years young and my brother, Vietnam vet 68 years old and a Purple Heart recipient. Yes, we must remember them everyday and also our current military members.

A quote from Ernest Bevin (1881-1951), Foreign Secretary in the 1945 British Labour Government, the first Government after the Second World War:

My policy is to be able to take a ticket at Victoria station and go anywhere I damn well please!

Victoria being the London station from which trains left for "The Continent" and all foreign destinations.
If you substitute Luton or Gatwick airports or St Pancras for Victoria station, I think he achieved his policy aim.
