Thailand tours

Any recommendations for tours in Thailand. I am interested in a 14 day tour in 2024.
I am open to all suggestions and recommendations. Thanks Fred

Caveat - I have not taken this tour, nor any Road Scholar Tours. I have talked with Road Scholar participants who were very satisfied with their tours. I have traveled independently to Thailand several times. I didn't find it hard to find private drivers, guides, or car services when we needed them.

The Road Scholar Best of Thailand, 15 days, includes a number of areas that I am familiar with and chose for independent travel. You might start by taking a look at that tour.

I'm only posting as there are no suggestions for you yet. Hopefully, someone who has actually done a Thailand tour will weigh in with their company and experience.

I think you can get more replies if you post this in the "Beyond Europe" forum. This forum is for those who have completed their trips and are sharing their memories.

I've been to Thailand 3-4 times, always on my own. It's really as easy to visit Thailand as a European country. I used a private tour guide for a few days in the north and took several day tours as well. In Bangkok public transportation is easy and taxis are plentiful and not expensive. You may want to consider going on your own.

In any event, the best time of year to go is January-February (and maybe December and early March). That's the dry season. It's perhaps not quite as hot as summer (temps in the 80's for sure) and not as humid, with little or no rain. I never saw rain in my visits in late January to early early March. The north is less humid and pleasantly cool from late evening to mid-morning.
