Just returned from Switzerland and Italy…Zurich, Lucerne, chur, train to Torino, Italy, Verona, Siena, Venice ending in Florence
Switzerland was fabulous, we had perfect weather cool snd dry for the most part, the food as I remembered from my last trip was expensive (18,00 for a hamburger) and was nothing notable. Beware -Florence and Venice were extremely crowded. I mean Extremely! Packed with lines going on snd on for any museum… other than-and we loved the optical illusion museum. Mornings are the best.
Train travel was easy! Plan your hotels in advance!
