Sicily, a great place to tour

Just returned from a tour to the island of Sicily. Lots of history, ancient and modern. A famous volcano, palaces, cathedrals, stunning mosaics, and wonderful, seaside resorts to enjoy. There is alot to see which covers practically the entire island. A guided tour is a perfect option, imo.
BRitish air goes non stop from LHR to,Palermo ans low cost airlines from UK are another option.

We had to cancel our trip to Sicily due to illness a few years ago and are now making plans for a trip there next year. So happy to learn that we can go directly to Palermo from LHR. We usually fly BA so this works well for us.
What was your favorite spot?
We will spend the most time in Siracusa.

For views my favorite was Taormina, for archaelogical mosaics villa del casales, churches and cathedrals in Palermo and Monreale.

Unfortunately, British Airways only flies to Sicily certain times of the year. I researched the off season RS Sicily tours and BA would not, unfortunately, be an option. They don't fly that time of year, so you'll need to go to Sicily during the higher season if you want to fly BA. As I fly BA, if I fly offseason, the best option was changing airports from Heathrow to Gatwick to fly EasyJet to Sicily. I'm thinking this is too much of a PITA for me where there are so many other places to see. I'll change planes once, but not twice to get somewhere.

Would you mind sharing the name of the tour company? A friend is interested in going to Sicily and is looking around for a good tour. Thanks
