You might try posting in the Scotland country area and in the Rick Steve Tours section here. I’ve tried to generate some interactivity or correspondence for the Best of Scotland season opener in April but have received no responses.

Many, probably the majority, of tour members aren't aware of or don't choose to participate in the forum. On our VFR tour in 2017, two of the 26 or so participants were on the forum before the tour. For our upcoming April/May Scotland tour, I've connected with two people on a wait-listed tour. From our first tour (Best of Paris) in 2015, I don't believe anyone else from the group was on the forum.
