Hi Has anyone done a RS Eastern Europe tour followed by a river cruise (Viking??) in France. Any thoughts on your experiences of this type of Europe Travel Plan?

Hi Fred, that sounds like a wonderful trip! We did something similar a few years ago - a week in Switzerland on our own, then a Viking Rhine river cruise, followed by a few days in Amsterdam. That was one of my favorite trips! We planned to do the Eastern Europe tour in 2020 but it was cancelled due to Covid. Hope to reschedule it at some point. Is this your first Viking cruise?

We did the Viking river cruise from Bordeaux followed by the RS Loire to the South of France tour. I think it would be great either way. We liked the slower river cruise as a way to get jet lag behind us, especially as we had some trouble with travel to France.
