We were on the April 25th to May 7th best of Turkey Trip. It was one of the best trips ever, and we’ve been on three other wonderful Rick Steve’s Tours.
First of all, it was safe and the people were we welcoming. At no time did we feel unsafe or unwelcome. We felt no effects from the conflict in Iran.
Our guide Taylon was great Not only was we a very capable and skilled guide for the tour but he was also a very skilled and knowledgable local guide for each stop. You could feel his passion for archiology and his vast knowledge of his country. He had the best sense of humor and was engaging in his bus talks. He obviously loved to learn and share his knowledge.
The places we visited were beautiful and educational. I felt I learned so much about early civilization, religions. Culture, and topography.
I highly recommend this tour.
