The end is in sight! Our last stop is at a gelateria (of course) for some very good, made in house gelati. We sit, we sigh at the thought of more food, but we make our choices of flavours (pistachio and lemon for me) and dig in. Our tour ends here and we say farewell to Luna who has been a wonderful guide. Full of information, humourous and an all around great guide! The cost of this tour was Euro 69. Was it worth it? Yes indeed. I learned something about Roman food, enjoyed far too much good fresh food, and also learned about a part of Rome that is definitely off the tourist track but that has a long history in supplying Rome with food, a tradition that continues until today. I thoroughly recommend this tour.
