Rick Steves - Greece

Just got home after an Amazing Rick Steves tour of Greece. This was our second tour with Rick Steves. Our first tour was in Ireland and it was wonderful as well. My husband and I have traveled extensively on our own and in organized group tours.

Our recent tour in Greece with our Rick Steves group did not disappoint !! Our tour guide Filippos was wonderful !! He was so knowledgable and shared so much information about the Greek people and the history of his country. He was so accommodating and kind. To top it off he was also Hilarious. He kept us in stitches with his funny stories. Just a REALLY nice man who took very good care of us on our tour.

I highly recommend this tour especially if you like hiking, swimming and exploring ancient ruins and sights.

Glad you enjoyed it. After 7 great RS tours, Greece remains our favorite. We are so hoping Rick takes a look at northern Greece and Albania for a new tour.

Yup, I was on the RS Greece Tour in June of this year, also with Filippos serving as guide. Great tour, wonderful guide, terrific and diverse country, very friendly people! A winner all the way around!

Phillipos was the assistant guide on my trip with Anastacia as the lead. They were a great pair! And Phillipos is indeed a nice man. I am so glad he is succeeding on his own. And so handsome...

I did the RS Greek tour in May and have to agree it was amazing, the food was awesome and the Greek people are wonderful.

We took that tour in 2014 and it was fabulous! It got us hooked on RS even though we are normally independent travelers! So glad you enjoyed it!

Greece is fantastic, so many islands not enough time to see them all in a lifetime unfortunately.

We did this tour in 2014 with David as our guide and had a marvelous time. I agree that an islands tour, and a northern Greece and Albania tour needs to be put together too.
