We are going on a Tauck river cruise in December. It will be cold. Is it acceptable to wear a fur coat?

We go on a TAUCK Xmas market cruise every other year. Def DON'T take a fur coat - get something waterproof.
You can learn lots about the Tauck Xmas Market River Cruises by visiting the Tauck website and go to Forums - there are reviews and suggestions there.
Also - book the Danube Xmas Markets for another year - the towns are amazing and the items sold are more authentic as it focuses on Germany & Austria where the markets originated in the 1200s.

I'd recommend warm and water resistant footwear, as well. I like to bring Allbirds mizzles and some lighterweight, comfortable boots.
I've been to central Europe twice in January. In my experience, the snow has been wet, as opposed to dry powder. Yes, you will want a waterproof coat.
