Gracias EP. That TR has some new sections just added. It is hella-looooong, with plentiful music.
The Fodors community has endured and actually gone through a whole new generation. Plenty of old-timer members no longer post there anymore. A separate section reserved for Politics keeps the other travel-themed areas free of nonsense.
The old Lonely Planet 'Thorn Tree' Forum has been resurrected btw, recreated in a smaller form as a sub-Reddit and still worthwhile. A number of key former members are the mods and they keep it real (read 'remove negative trolls and such forthwith).
