Our time in Croatia in August 2014 was special – first visit, wonderful sights, fascinating history, ancient artefacts and beautiful geography, nice people, good food, comfortable accommodation and finally a comfortable flight on Croatian airlines to Munich.
We began in Dubrovnik, then visited Split, Solin, Trogir, Sibenik and Primosten along the Adriatic, north through the mountains to NP Plitvice and on to Zagreb over 6 days.
We are most appreciative of the contribution of Pero, privateguidesteam@gmail.com, our well informed guide, safe driver and conversationalist. Thanks Pero for also sharing with us your appreciation of the history and current politics of the Balkans which is well balanced. When Matt, the guide we had originally booked, became ill, Pero took over at short notice, kept a pace that suited us and used reliable drivers when he was not driving us himself.
