The Rick Steves Paris book lists Sainte-Chapelle as having extended evening hours Wednesday until 2130.
It closes at 1900, as it does on every other day. The last visitors are permitted 1830.
As a side note, I went there at 830 in the morning and was the first in line. I actually was in the chapel a few minutes, completely by myself.

Great that you got there early! I always say that if there's one sight worth missing breakfast for, it's Ste-Chapelle. I actually got a seat, and could enjoy the stained glass without the crowds.
