Located just north of the Vatican at GREAT price for lrg room and nice bath. Great beds, AC/heat and a lift. Quiet neighborhood. Florence: Rick recommends Panella's Residence. Great location, great rooms and baths, quiet, great Breakfast, lovely hostess. Venice: Rick recommends Casa Rezonnico. Great location, price, room, bath and lovely area. Near the Acadamia Bridge and vaporetta stop. No lift. Car driving was only a little scary in returning the car to Florence. GPS helped a lot. Picked up van in Rome at the Termini Station. Got out quick from Rome with GPS. Hope this helps.
