Thank you, Rick Steves, for introducing my husband (Michael) & I to Piña Esposito -- an OUTSTANDING guide -- of southern Italy's ancient Roman treasures & beloved modern-day sites. Michael & I LOVED having Pina Esposito so much as our Rick Steves' tour group guide of the Pompeii Archeological Museum in Naples one year ago that we had Piña as our private guide for a magical 6 hour tour of Herculaneum & Villa Oplontis -- two more remarkable ruins -- in May 2015.
Pina is a wonderful, amazingly knowledgeable & personable guide of southern Italy's extraordinary ancient Roman cities (Pompeii, Herculaneum etc.) & palaces (Villa Oplontis etc.) and special modern-day places (Amalfi coast, Sorrento, Naples etc).
Piña has a Phd in Roman/Greco Archeology & Art History, and she is very gifted at interpreting Italy's remarkable sites in a joyful & lively manner with all types of tourists. Whether one is a "beginner" or very familiar regarding Roman/Greco history, Piña Esposito truly makes Italy's ancient history come alive!
