I just returned home from two weeks in Rome and stayed in a "Rick Steves" hotel. We stayed at Hotel Paba for 14 nights and it was absolutely perfect. Alberta Castelli is the hotel owner. She brought in our breakfast every morning and every day she and I visited about all we, my husband and I, had seen out and about in Rome. She has wonderful suggestions for things to see and do and places to eat. This is a small 7 room hotel literally around the corner from the Coloseum and the Forum. It is equally spaced between two Metro lines and there are great places to eat within a two minute walk. Go and enjoy and I promise you'll love Hotel Paba.

Stacey, this is a lovely trip report, and I enjoyed reading it! Please post it on the Graffiti Wall under "Heroic B&B" thread, along with a link for contact! I always check that area first when I'm looking for a BnB -- or small hotel! How much per night? Did you have a small kitchen? Elevator?
