I recently stayed in a beautifully restored farmhouse in Andalusia with my family for a week. The hosts, Tim and Claire, have created a perfect place for families, friends or individuals to enjoy all Andalusia has to offer. Each room in the farmhouse has wonderful views of the countryside and are simply yet elegantly and ecologically outfitted. Each meal prepared by Claire and a small staff with locally sourced food and produce, was amazing and delicious. Tim and Claire are also a wealth of information for hiking, day trips, Adulasian villages and their restaurants and cultural offerings as well as the larger, more famous cultural sites (The Alhambra, La Mezquita and La Fortreza in Alcala) and Spanish history. Casa Olea is a gem and a place to go back to time and time again.
