- Merrell lightweight hiking shoes with a little bit of a higher top for ankle protection with medium thickness smartwool socks. I was blister free!
- A hydration pack- I drank 4-5 L per hike and at times was so tires, it was easiest to suck on the hose rather than get a water bottle out of my bag.
- Detergent to do sink laundry. I had two pairs of hiking bottoms and 3 tops and 2 socks and washed my outfit every night in the sink
- Water shoes- the beaches are rocky. My showed were very lightweight and 10 dollars from Target
- Sunblock- there was very little sun protection on most of the trails
- Ibuprofen
What I didn't need:
1. Sock liners- I wore them the first day and then they ended up falling off of the clothesline at the hotel. But they didn't make a difference
2. Insect repellent- I wore it every day just on case. But no one else was getting bitten.
Thanks to everyone who offered advice along the way!
