My husband and I spent an all too quick week in Barcelona and Cadaques (on the Costa Brava). We used Rick's Pocket Barcelona and parts of Rick's 2015 Spain. We stayed in El Jardi in Barcelona. It's on a great little "Placa" in the old city and stayed in the Llane Petit in Barcelona. Both wonderful and very reasonable.
We ate at several wonderful Barcelona restaurants, including "4 Cats" and La Vinateria del Call, both recommended in the Pocket Barcelona. Other restaurants that we sampled were Barraca, in the Barceloneta area and Ca L'Isidre in El Raval.
In Cadaques, we loved Llane Petit, a nice "Spanish Stroll" away from the town center. We ate at "Es Balconet" and "Es Baluard". Both wonderful. We visited Dali's house in Port Lligat and made reservations in advance as recommended in Steve's Spain 2015 guide.
It was a wonderful trip.
