Our Biblical Tour of Athens was Amazing

As a Canadian Pastor, the biblical tour of Athens with Thanasis Paparoupas was a highlight for me. Being in the Ancient Agora, and trying to picture the Apostle Paul conversing with the learned philosophers about Christ stirred me deeply. Also, standing where the Apostle Paul stood on the Areopagus and addressed the “Men of Athens” deepened my appreciation. Thanasis’ deep knowledge of ancient Greek philosophy helped me greatly, and deepened my appreciation for the Great Apostle, and his reference to the “unknown god”. Thanasis provided amazing insight, background, and connections for me during the entire tour. Thanasis’ deep awareness of the Scriptures facilitated deep and rich conversations between us also, and made me aware of important details I was unaware of. Thanasis also wisely set the importance of wisdom cherished in Athens and exalted in the Parthenon within the context of wisdom in Proverbs 8. This connection was very insightful. Therefore, because of our marvelous tour, I would highly recommend Thanasis!!

I went to his website and am interested in the same tour. Would you share with us the approximate price you paid for this tour. I hate contacting tour guides then getting quotes which are out of our price range.
Thank you.

Our tour with Thanasis was 5 hours. The cost was 350 euros. We also paid the fees to get to the Acropolis and the ancient agora.

The (human) flexibility is appreciated Webmaster. Though I have no interest in this tour myself.
