Ortigia Sicily Itinerary

Going to be in Ortigia with my wife for five nights in September for the first time as the last stop of our honeymoon. This a rough draft of my itinerary and am looking for comments or suggestions. Any must does or if the two day trips would be too much. Thanks

  • Day 1: Spend in Ortigia (Should arrive there around 2:30pm)
  • Day 2: Boat day in Ortigia. Spend day in Ortigia
  • Day 3: Day trip to either Noto, Ragusa or Modica. Car Rental
  • Day 4: Day trip to either Noto, Ragusa or Modica. Car Rental
  • Day 5: Cooking class in morning or just hang out in Ortigia for final day

We went to a puppet show when we were in Ortigia; it was so fun. The whole show was in Italian, so we didn't understand the dialogue, but the puppet show and theater were so fun. There is also an incredible puppet museum.

I think you will see a lot of Ortigia in the first 2 days you are there, so I would opt for the cooking class on your final day; the food in Sicily is the best.
