Normandy and D-Day beaches

I highly recommend staying at and using the guides at Chateau de Beaulieu, a beautiful manor in Valognes, France where we stayed for our weekend tour of Normandy. The owners are also the travel guides and are experts in D-Day and Mont-St-Michel history. My family stayed there and we did day trips with our hosts; we had an amazing time and learned more than I had expected. The Colonel can pick you up and drop you off at one of the many train stations in the area, and the stay is very well structured. The meals are included at the manor (or in the small villages along the tour) and there is great evening conversation during and after dinner. This is the first time I have ever blogged before, but I was greatly impressed by this experience.
