The Newgrange tour with Mary Gibbons was one of the highlights of my twelve days visiting Ireland in Aug./Sept. 2025. Mary gave us a wonderful tour of parts of Dublin, including the architecture and monuments before heading to the country. She shared many stories about the towns along the way. The Knowth megalith was fascinating to me. My wedding ring was designed based on the spirals on the rocks. As a UAP experiencer, I thought the tombs resembled disk-shaped crafts. Our guide there brought up the importance of the Pleiades, and I confided in her that at least two of us on her tour had “alien encounters.” The views of the Boyne valley were breathtakingly beautiful. The Newgrange museum was modern and surrounded by beautiful scenery, and the gift shop and café were well-stocked. Visiting Newgrange itself was quite moving, for it incorporated a light effect which reproduced the solar alignment illuminating the three tombs, which added to the emotional heaviness of the site for our small group inside the depths of the tomb. The workmanship was astounding. I was grateful we visited the Hill of Tara on a windy day. It added to the energy of the centuries of history of the coronation of kings. We had fun taking photos with the phallic Stone of Destiny which symbolized the king’s marriage to the earth goddess. There’s also a lovely church, a statue of St. Patrick, donkeys and a gift shop. Lunch was delicious at a charming old place with farm animals, and we got one of our best photos with a horse named Billy. We were grateful to Mary for her incomparable tour, which was a perfect way to start our trip.
