I was greeted this morning by a nice new photo on the Corum Page, of ancient ruins somewhere, maybe Greece or Sicily? Does anyone recognize the place?
Looks like the Forum Area of Rome.
If you right-click on it, and select "view image", you can see the photo on its own and the filename:

If you look at the Wikipedia article for the "Temple of Vesta" there is a photo of the same 3 pillars: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_of_Vesta
It's a forum for the forum ☺ - yours - Sherlock F
Thanks, Sherlock! It never occurred to me it might be right in Rome, at a place I have been recently.
I was hoping for Sicily, as the photo gave me that “I want to go there!” Feeling.
I wonder how they got a shot in the Forum with so few people?
It is clearly the Roman Forum. You can see the Arch of Constantine in the far background. A classic picture.
"I wonder how they got a shot in the Forum with so few people?"
It was probably hot as heck! You can see a tour group huddled under the trees on the left - that's where our guide led us on one of my RS tours to Rome!
I feel so good... Sent a few suggestions on improvements to the forum page and mentioned the need for updating the images... THANK YOU RS FORUM WEB PAGE WARRIORS!!!!
Yes, what a pleasant surprise to see the new "Forum Forum" photo!
Very nice update. Thanks A. & gang @ RS.
And now Iceland has its own Forum. I wonder what is next....
ps. Nice work Sherlock
