Naples, Pompeii & the Amalfi Coast

It has been my wife and my distinct pleasure to have been guided on a number of occasions by Pina Esposito. Pina has taken us through the excavations at Pompeii, the National Archeological Museum (Naples) and a number of other Neapolitan sites e.g. Royal Palace, Castel Nuovo, etc. Her credentials are the gold standard and include a PhD (frankly, I think she’s a genius), but the energy and passion she brings to her subject matter is what separates her from other recommended guides with whom we have shared our travels. Pina knows how to keep the discourse lively and the information interesting. Her love for the region and dedication to her clients lends itself to a practical value-added as well through recommendations and assistance in all matters of local interest. In short, she’s the best guide we’ve had in more than a dozen trips to Italy. If you’re thinking about a guided tour in this region, call Pina Esposito at +39.338.763.4224 or email her at annamariaesposito1@virgilio.it or giuseppina.esposito20@istruzione.it

Hmmm....glowing report, link to e-mail and a phone number yet this is the OP's one and only post. I smell a bit of personal advertising.

She’s recommended in Rick's guide to Italy. Just look in the Naples section of the book. I had a friend who used her as a guide and he raved about his experience.

That may well be the case but it still doesn't detract from the fact that this is likely blatant advertising. I don't like it, it's disingenuous and if you allow it to occur it won't take long for these forums to be bogged down with advertisements disguised as genuine traveller recommendations.
