Rick's recommendation that a tour of the Sonnenberg bunker, large enough at one time to house 20,000 Swiss people in the event of nuclear way, is perfect. The tour is given once a month in English and the tour guide is fantastic, knowledgeable, responsive, and smart. Be warned however that the bunker is full of mold. If you have trouble with mold, perhaps try wearing a mask. It was too much for me and I had to leave the tour after 20 min. (of a 2-hour tour.) Still if you can handle the mold, the tour is worthwhile (my husband stayed for the whole tour and loved it.)
