London Perfect

We rented Middleton from London Perfect for 18 nights. We have rented apartments in both Paris and Barcelona in previous years through VRBO. This time we decided to splurge a bit and rent what we expected to be a sure thing. The location was great, but otherwise the apartment was a disappointment. The beds and bedding were poor quality as were the towels, kitchen appliances, and plumbing fixtures. The apartment was not clean, and I had to clean the dishwasher filter after the first load dishes came out still dirty. The contents of the filter was unbelievable, hair and plastic plus greasy leftovers. Even more upsetting was the lack of response to our request for advise about seeking medical help for our sick grandchild who was vacationing with us. We were instructed by our greeter to email and not call them for help, and so we emailed to find out where in our neighborhood we might take our ill grandchild for evaluation. We didn't get any response for over 24 hours.
We are on holiday for 8 weeks and will be in Paris for a week at the end of our time. Unfortunately we have rented through Paris Perfect. I hope our experience with Paris Perfect will better than with London Perfect.

I am truly sorry about your bad experience in London. We also rented from London Perfect recently ( Portland) and were totally pleased from start to finish. High quality apartment, as well as kitchen supplies, linens and more. The apartment was perfect as was the agency's service during our stay. Staff came to our apartment immediately when we asked a question. We have rented many apartments, villas and cottages all over Europe and this was one of our best experiences. We plan to rent from them again.

Thanks for the warning. This is why we prefer a traditional B & B or Gites or Inn with a live host. You can usually get a weekly rate with these also...and you get a hot breakfast...sometimes tea and Dinner. Or you can eat pub grub. You can still bring Deli food to your room if you are watching your spending. In the UK you can also book self catering accommodations with the National Trust UK. Some time share resorts are also open to visitors.

I hope that your grandchild is better.

Don't count on it. They charge a LOT, but generally are not helpful if things aren't good.

However if you go post this on Trip Advisor amazing things will happen. One of their "shills" will make sure they respond to you (of course they will also imply that everything is your fault, but you will get action :) )

Not good at all absolutely disgusting. If people want to cash in on their homes or 2nd homes they must make sure everything is better than hotel standards in terms of cleanliness.
