Lawcus Farm, a special place to stay in Ireland.

We were fortunate to stay at some really nice places during our two week tour of Ireland, and I'm so glad Lawcus Farm was our last stop. It's such a special place -- nice rooms, cooked to order breakfast, beautiful location, adorable dogs, goats, horses, donkeys, and an enormous pig. The place is set on acres of gorgeous land, with a river running through it. Poppy the dog will take you down there while she enjoys a swim. The rooms are tasteful, and it is so quiet you sleep like a log. Ann-Marie is an incredibly generous host, full of great stories and excellent recommendations. We had some car trouble on our last night, so she drove me into town to pick up dinner, but first bought me a pint of Guinness at the local pub, and introduced me to all her friends, and we had a grand time. How cool was that? The other guests were a lot of fun too. We ended going out to dinner with some of them.. We'd go back in a heartbeat, and stay longer next time.

We stayed there in 2017, after someone on the forum suggested it to me. I am so glad to hear that it is still just as wonderful as when we were there. What a special place!
