Just went through Schiphol -no issues-and misc for our RS tour

Just changed planes at AMS. USA to Germany.

Had to go through passport control. No line. Airport isn’t crowded. But it’s not a holiday, weekend.

Did carryon only in anticipation of our RS tour and its active itinerary. Using an Osprey back pack, perfect. Using RFID neck pack, makes it easy to dig out passport and money. I’m also sporting a cast on my arm, but it’s not an issue. An inconvenience, but I’m used to it.

No one wearing masks. We are due to upcoming tour and not tempting fate. Covid is an apparent non issue here.

Same, also yesterday (Sunday). Our plane from ATL was 30 min late, leaving only 1 hr to make connection to Germany. Made it with time to spare. We also did carryon luggage, mainly because of everything we’d heard (we usually check our carryon sized bags). Pleasantly surprised at how easy everything was, except being comfortable on the 8+ hr flight. I’ll never get used to that!

Transferred through Schiphol on Monday, and it was fine.
Just a long way between gates!
Passport control lines were not long, and really moved along quickly, maybe 10 minutes or so to get through to carry on to my gate.

I'm glad things went well for you. I would think that Schiphol's current policy of limiting flight departures would make transfers easier than usual due to less passengers flowing through the airport.

There was minimal mask wearing when I was in Berlin in late April and Austria in late May (except on public transport where it was still required).
