Just returned from our 8 days in Spain! Now starting to get back on track after returning. I wanted to say that our Guide Augustin Ciriza (who filled in at the last moment) was Outstanding. He did not miss a beat. Our group of 25 blended into a "familia extendida", extended family. We had some wonderful planned and unplanned adventures: strike at the Picasso museum and the World Soccer championship in Madrid....there was a lot of energy in the air!!
This was my first tour and I loved it! My sister and I could not say enough about how smoothly, stress free and enriching it was for body, mind and spirit. And when I lost my wallet in the taxi? The hotel staff was tremendous and Guess What....the wallet was returned and I had it the next morning.....miracles do happen!!
Follow the plan and the plan will set you free....
More later, but for now: how to adjust without my afternoon siestas, red wines and incredible Spain culture and people!!!

That was my first RS tour, too! Loved it, and returned recently from my 6th tour.

That wass one of our favorite tours. Can't wait to read your trip report. I love trip reports from newbies, esspecially when they had a wonderful, tranformational time.
