Just back: 9 days Sorrento, 5 days Rome (part 5)

Apologize for the double post of part 4 As this was our 3rd time in Rome, we concentrated on places we hadn't gotten to: Trastevere, Hadrian's Villa. We took RS's advice on the Villa (time consuming to get there, metro and 2 buses) and did something we rarely do: took an organized tour. Boy, did we appreciate the A/C on the bus on our return. Last year we tried to get to Orvieto but after we purchased our train tickets, our train was cancelled due to a fire at the Rome Tiburtina station. We made it there this year and highly recommended as a day trip from Rome. Much less crowded than I thought it would be.
Last bit of advice for any 1st timers to Italy in the summer: take multiple bottles of water with you daily. Sometimes its feels as it you can never drink enough/
