My wife and I have just returned from our 3rd trip to Italy (Trip 1 in 2005: Florence, Venice, Bologna, Rome, trip 2 in 2011: Milan, Pisa, Sienna, Rome) and as usual, we had a great time. How could we not? Aside from the "normal" amount of chaos and confusion in Italy (smile and move on) and the heat, I don't think I could ever tire of traveling there. Here are some things we learned and experienced that may be of interest: We connected to Naples (flying from Newark) via Munich. We had an hour and a half between flights and that amount of time was more than adequate.
We traveled from the Naples Airport to Sorrento via Curreri bus, picking up the bus easily when we exited the airport.
