Hi, Two companies operate non-government bus lines. Havas and Havatas. So you know why the names are similar, Havas means air or fly. And both run to and from the airport. I am in istanbul as I write. The Havas, not Havatas, bus that used to time it's pick ups and deliveries with Ataturk international and Bakirkoy ferry port has stopped operating. Few people at the airport or on the ground know this. It is by government order. Again bus service by Havas between Ataturk airport and Bakirkoy ferry terminal no longer operates. Just so you know the Havatas bus that runs at least every hour Taksim to Ataturk is operating as normal. It can connect you to Yenikapi ferry port if you are trying to get to the Asian side of Istanbul. And by Asian, that means on the east side of the Bosphorus. Taksim is on the east side of the Golden Horn (hal?ç) and still on the west side of the Bosphorus. Wayne iNWI
