The Malpensa Express I found out now has a tap in tap out system. So there is no need to buy tickets; you can just tap the credit card or smart phone linked to it, similar to system in Chicago and the Netherlands.
Based on the weather reports of a few different places I considered visiting as daytrips from Milan the night before I researched and bought online all of my tickets from transportation on the ferries to a combo ticket for entrance into the palaces and gardens of both Isola Bella and Isola Madre. This was a great experience. There are proud peacocks on the grounds showing off. The crowds that beautiful areas of the world attract are not here, sounds and looks predominantly like just European and few North American retirees. But I have always found early May is a good time to travel, better it is around the birthday.
Anyway, tomorrow off to the main place I came here to see: the Giorgio Armani Museum.
Meanwhile here are photos artifacts:

Nice. I too am from Chicagoland and will be staying in Stresa this summer.
Thank you, and thanks for sharing your lovely photos!
More to come.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos!
Those white peacocks were really showing off their beauty.
When I was there they were hiding around the bushes.
Where did you stay? Do you recommend your accommodations?
I don't recommend my accomodations and had to give them a bad review after 2 previous stays dating back to 2018; but if you stay in Milan and want to do day trips like I did stay close to the train station, although it is big city chaotic and some would say seedy around there.
