Ireland

  • this is my fourth Rick Steves tour and by far my favorite. My guide Connor was so knowledgeable and pleasant. I learned so much about Ireland’s history and their struggles. It was the most beautiful weather. We had sunshine and cool temperatures every day. Everyone said we lucked out I do believe even if it was raining I would’ve enjoyed learning about Ireland. I think my favorite part of the trip was a tour of the jail in Dublin*. Of course the music and pubs were fantastic. Dingle Peninsula was a look into Ireland’s past. Be sure and watch all the movies and read all the books that are suggested.. now that I’m back in the USA. I appreciate the movie even more because I’ve been there and recognize so many scenes. I hope you pick Ireland as one of your destinations because I know you will not be disappointed.

Thanks, gerriclare! We were scheduled to go on that trip last year, but an auto accident sidelined us. It’s on our schedule for next year and we are looking forward to it!
