Tanzania & Uganda Trip report 2022

I have completed my combined trip report and photobook on our recent trip to Tanzania and Gorilla Trekking in Uganda. I think it is ok to post my link to my google album. If you click on the photos, it makes them larger so you can read the text. I welcome any questions as I don't know too many people who have seen the Gorilla's.

That was absolutely amazing! I haven't even heard of anybody else who has done the Gorillas.

Thank you so much for posting this.

Tammy, I hate you! Not really, I'm just terribly jealous. And very happy that you and your DH had a wonderful time. I do wonder what exactly you meant by doing the Gorillas. Frankly I'm not sure I want the details. 🤣

Great photos and what a wonderful trip you had, Tammy! Your black mamba photo was very good and the light on the secretary bird was perfect to capture its crest. Africa is addicting, isn’t it. And good for you on doing the gorilla trek. It is quite grueling I am told by those who have done it so it is something to do before you get too old and creaky. And I agree. For us, it’s all about the animals wherever we travel.

Chani, doing the Gorilla's is maybe a poor choice of words. Hmm, how could I say it? Seeing the Gorilla's! Yes, going to change it now!
Mary, thank you and everyone for the nice comments on my book. I love to make them and then re-live my trip.

No, Tammy! LOL

Everyone knows what you mean, and probably only a twisted mind would read it the way I did.

Got my hard copy of my photobook in the mail today from Shutterfly. I’m going to take some time to look at it, much better than viewing it on the computer. I hope people are printing out their photos these days, I’ve read some articles that say digital is the death of peoples photos because people just leave them on their phones or computers.

I hope people are printing out their photos these days,

We only print a couple from each trip. 5" x 7" and hung in 8 x 10 frames. We have 6 in the living room and 6 in the kitchen that we swap out with a couple of new ones after every trip. We call them our "wall worthy " photos.

Personally, I think I may look at my photos more often because it's more convenient on my phone. Carla (wife) does a photobook like you do but they get tucked in a cupboard and forgotten about.
