Looking for recommendations for a hotel to stay in Rome the night before our tour begins. Just my husband and myself traveling. Also, places to definitely avoid. Thank you

If taking a RS tour I would stay in same hotel tour is booked in.. that way you are not wasting your day moving your stuff from one hotel to next. Also, I would post this in the "To the Boot" (Italy ) section , you aren't really in the best place for this question to be seen by those most interested and experienced in Italy.

Also, when you email your RS tour hotel, be sure to mention you will be starting the RS tour. The tour hotels usually give a discount and then you have the same room for the tour. It is much more relaxing.
